The Wonky Giraffe is a small, independent needlework and quilting business based in Kelso in the Scottish Borders.
Opening in June 2020, The Wonky Giraffe was primarily an online shop with a small workshop where customers could browse the products available by appointment only. Following the success of the first few years of business, we moved to larger, more accessible premises and now source and provide a growing range of fabric, patterns, sewing accessories, kits, wool and knitting accessories... to name a few! We are proud stockists of Janome and Pfaff sewing machines, and can provide one to one demonstrations for those just beginning their sewing journey. We host a range of classes in our dedicated training room, led by experienced instructors, for beginner and skilled sewers alike. We now offer Longarm Quilting Services too, meaning we are able to bring you full circle from just beginning your quilting journey to being able to show off your finished pieces!

Reopen Monday 12th January 2026
